Patch night without twenty consoles
Production (sp150) updates, a full backup first, then install. The PBX restarts. Down alerts can stay quiet for 30 or 60 minutes.
The situation
Three boxes are a version behind. You do not want a Friday surprise, and you do not want on-call paged because you rebooted them on purpose.
What Kestrel does
- Check for updates on selected hosts. Apply only after a check finds something.
- Queue a full backup, then InstallUpdates. Schedule a start time or run now.
- Open a maintenance window so down alerts are suppressed.
- Export a 3CX console-restriction blacklist (selected or all hosts).
- Add a multi-tenant company from the same page.
